Winter Park Resort hosts some of the best contests around!
2010 will be stacked with events to help you progress to the next level of competition. From the King of the Grommets that can give you bragging rights at school to the Burton AM Tour that can qualify you for the US Open, our freeride events support your level of riding.
King of the Grommets events will have an additional age group to include 14 and 15 year olds. This means both 13 and under and 14-15 year old riders can battle it out in Re-railer for the prizes and glory. We are also adding an event in March so these young riders can have two chances to prove who is King of Re-railer terrain park.

▪ April 3: Red Bull Butter Cup
Red Bull Butter Cup is a contest series that showcases creativity in technical flatland trickery. Born in the northeast in 2009 and bred for the country in 2010, it's all about going back to the basics of what made us all fall in love with shredding in the first place: FUN!
Butter up and cut loose on the custom Red Bull butter pads and bring your bag of tricks. Style and creativity is the name of the game and the competition is hot so the cream will rise to the top. The jam session format keeps the action flowing while riders battle in Pro and Am divisions for cash and fresh gear. Only trick sequences that include buttering will count so hit the snow and start polishing your skills.
After the event join us at Derailer for the after party! Registration is available on morning of event in the Balcony House. Check out the Red Bull Butter Cup website here.
